[VIDEO] Nigerian Air Force Bomb New Boko Haram Camp In Borno



The Nigerian Air Force has destroyed a new Boko Haram Camp which was located between Malam Fatori and Kangarawa in the north of Borno State.

This was contained in a statement by the Director of Information and Public Relations Officer of the NAF, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa.

He noted that the camp was destroyed during a night operation carried out with attack helicopters of the service on Monday.

He said that a post-battle damage assessment carried out by the NAF indicated that those who survived the earlier attack among the insurgents converged in a new location.

He added that Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions carried out by the fighter pilots confirmed the intelligence report which led to the latest attack on the insurgents’s location.

The Air Force Spokesman also said that the fighter pilots of the NAF used the Alpha Jets platform to repel a Boko Haram attack on troops of the 153 Battalion who were on a fighting patrol at Ala Lumshe.

He said, “The Nigerian Air Force during a night operation conducted yesterday, successfully destroyed a new Boko Haram Terrorist Camp located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in Northern Borno.
